Enjoyed a beautiful vacation in Paris, Rome and Barcelona.. the food was unbelievable!

September 2011:
Playing an outdoor show of cover tunes at Now Radio.. Sat, Sept 10th.

August 2011: 
Played Open Sky Music Festival in Hawreluk Park. The highlight of my summer. Can't wait for next year!

July 2011: 
Bought my first grand piano! It has a place of honour in the new house.

January 2011:

November 2010: 
Did a style Q and A photo shoot and interview for Avenue Magazine. Look for it in the January issue.

October 2010:
Playing every weekend at The Red Piano's duelling piano show.

Three week vacation in Turkey and Greece... yum fried cheese and apple tea.

July 2010:
Played a show at the Druid with some great friends from Grant MacEwan.

Edmonton singer-songwriter Katie Perman was born just wanting to sing. After graduating from the Grant MacEwan College music program in 2003, majoring in both vocal performance and composition, she continued making music her life and passion.

In 2009 she released her debut album "Take This Sound and Make a Picture", she is currently being featured on Edmonton's 102.3 Now Radio, is gracing the city on many billboards promoting Edmonton's music scene, and was awarded "Breakout Artist of the Year" through Rawlco Radio.

Since 2004 Katie has performed over 300 shows, and has had the opportunity to perform with the Kit Kat Club, the Dave Babcock Orchestra, Mike Lent, Lyle Molzan, PJ Perry, Rubim De Toledo, Doug Organ, Sandro Dominelli, Charlie Austin, Chris Andrews and many others. She currently performs weekends as a dueling piano player at The Red Piano.
